JCH: now you know you can't rely on that too much simple emulator, the problem is not this song. =)

The drums are completely missing when playing this with Hermit's jsSID emulator.

I'm listening these entries with HardSID, and this tune sounds great on 8580. On 6581s (three different chips) the kick of the bass drum is missing completely :O

Anyhow, I'm enjoying the tune :)

Yeah, it was just meant as a tip for those who might have listened to this song via emulation only.

@Toggle.. I made it on a C64 with a 8580 sid chip connected to my hi-fi gear.
I just noticed that my laptop almost didnt procude any bass too. Play it on some real hi-fi equipment and you should hear it loud and clear.

Great work as usual :-)

One thing: Playing this with with Sidplay kills the bass when using the new SID. Switching to the old one the bass seems alright though.

Thanks for the nice comments. :-)
The off-key notes (bass & arpeggio) at the end of the song is intentional. It gives a falling/dizzy effect, doesn't it ?

Very nice melody and chords. There is something compelling about it. I like the subtle echo in the first section. Although it sounds good on both versions I prefer 8580 version (at least in Sidplay).

Easy listening tune. Sounds a bit like a backgroundtheme from a softporn!
I wonder where 6R6 got inspired from! ;)

Constructive criticism:
sounds like a bit disharmonic at ~0:50-1:00. Maybe you want to work this part over?!

Very, very good, but I minimally prefer "crack the frequency".

Like it till those intended off-key notes play at the end. Nevertheless nice!
