to quote a line from one of my favourite pieces of art "In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary...Come again?"

Do you remember who did what light and color on which pixel?

I love to be dramatic and so off topic as (possible of) much of my comments recently:
”You’re dead” is a phrase which might want me to think about Samuel Beckett and “the unnamable”.
Even Lars Norén, when he speaks about memory, time and presence. When John Cage speaks about memory,
he clearly states he doesn’t want to remember anything himself. Alain Robbe-Grillet got around it
with his permutations on memory and so on.

As a spectator, we are not given any withdrawal from memory, but the same sprites visible again.

I remember doing about 90% of a titlescreen for this and losing the lot is a diskcrash. after which i basically said something to the effect of "fck that for a game of soldiers i am not doing that again" at which point Claka asked BJ if he wanted to do it and he jumped at the chance. sorted.

i remember this was on constantly on the CNET stand at the pcw show of '87. CNET loved it coz it attracted people to their stand because the kids thought it really was the demo version of the real Goldrunner game. It was only relatively recently i convinced Frank Gasking that it wasnt a "lost" game only a demo :)
