The SID format purely deals with sid chips, not much I can do about that. Putting songs that won't play properly into HVSC doesn't help anybody, certainly not the composer.

Too bad, more experiments that won't find their way to the HVSC. I'm sure they would be asked to be removed if I add them so I won't even bother trying.

the tune blew me out of my boots and is now slamming me against the wall repeatedly, even though i'm not in love with so-called midi instruments x_x

Nothing is coming out on r36140 Mac OS X SDL2. I used MIDI Monitor to spy on ViceOutput MIDI port. Empty.

Thanks 4mat, it does come with MIDI device, but I don't know how to name VICE output for CoreAudio to play MIDI. When I open some app that sees MIDI in/outs, I can see Vice midi output and select it, but it doesn't actually play. That MIDI/Core Audio thingy is not something I played with before. :(

gorans : If the Mac comes with a default general midi device built in you should use that. If it doesn't you'd need to point it at a standalone VST or something. For the latter you might need a virtual midi cable driver which is how I've tried it in Windows.

Wow - what a killer demo with a fab Outrunnish soundtrack. One of my faves this year. Love it! <3

This is a real joy, thank you for sharing! It's always cool to hear the SID singing alongside other kinds of sounds in this way.

What to choose on Mac OS X SDL2 as MIDI Output? I tried CoreMIDI, Core MIDI, Core Audio...
