With the drum sounds and patterns you've chosen, I'm reminded of Makke's remix of the same track and I can hear his lyrics when listening to this. Great work Jason!

Thank you all for your kind comments! Glad it made (most) of you happy! It was a difficult decision to know how far I could go away from the original, whilst still keeping the soul of Robs great work. I knew that it wouldn't appeal to everyone - the original is such a classic that I actually wondered if I had the right to even attempt this. Anyway, thanks again!

It's excellent. Only in the second melody lead I prefer Hubbard's original sound, where the pulse sweep is more epic.

Painstakingly faithful to the original.
I cant even begin to imagine what a sysiphus job recreating it must have been.
I might have made some slightly different choices on some of the percussions and
the bass instrument, but still I really like the spin you gave it.

Thumbs up!

really nice, by listening to how it's structured ..you use some audio things that are tricks in normal music production? :) . it gives the hint of it anyway

Ofcourse an almost impossible to improve tune, but you made the right decisions on respecting certain sounds and enhancing others. And i kinda like your snare, claps and hihats alot. The initial bass sound is in my personal view not subtle enough. And i think i heard _one_ wrong note. But hey :-) 9/10!

That was sublime, everything superb about the original and then boosted to a new level. Jason, that was a work of audio art..

When I was little, I sat and waited for each game that included music by Rob Hubbard!
Now as an adult, I sit and wait for each release containing music by Jason Page :-)

Awesome remix!

Jason, you are now my favorite SID musicians and it would be an honor to use music from you in any future Software of Sweden game!
