This is a very enjoyable demo. it has allot of interesting FX, many of these FX are rare in today's demos though.

Wow this is truly excellent! Thanks to @Jammer, whose comment came up in 'Latest User Comments' section and brought this absolute gem to my attention!

With this mixture of code porn, awesome ideas, great flow, silky smooth linking and transitions plus all audio/visual feast, demo should be WAAAAYY higher in the ranks <3

Starts off slowly with some nice pics, but picks up pace further into the demo. The ball carousel, dot morph, texture rotozoomer and tunnel effects were my faves on this one. Some great SID too.

The girl being sucked into the computer reminded me a bit of Tron. :) In Japan there is a creature known as a sadako, who is a spirit that can come out of the computer screen. Seeing that there are some Japanese characters in the demo, and the hand coming out of the screen, maybe that's where Raven and Vip got the idea instead?
Oh and the sprite letters in the scroll tilting along the sine wave was also a nice effect.

Got to view this for the 1st time today. The real stand out moments were the full screen tunnel, and the great looking red and yellow logo (over interlaced image). Audio has its moments too.

Interesting intro idea: Female turning to static before being sucked into monitor. I couldn’t help but think how much more impressive it would have looked if the back ground image looked realistic, and the static female slowly vanished while being sucked into the monitor.

just watched the demo the first time and have to say that it is pretty awesome. design, code, gfx and music are playing well together. this should be close to the top 10.

Great demo full of beautiful graphics, exciting effects and awesome music. Should be way higher in the charts.

Note: Turn "virtual device traps" off in VICE 2.0, otherwise you'll get: "This demo can not run on NTSC machines".

Also take note of the directory art after running it a few times.

Horribly underrated demo, at least if you compare the voting here on CSdb. #84 on the demo charts (today), and if you check the demos that are rated better.. well now i really shouldn't tell any names of the demos you could compare with, but anyways.. This one deserves a much higher ranking, but again there is no such thing as a fair ranking system :P.

The flow of the demo is good, and everything is tip top - especially the gfx. The music in the endpart is just great!

This demo really struck me: great graphics, great music and great everything but above all it tells a story, that's the coolest thing! I just love these story telling demos with great effects, this is real multimedia entertainment, years ago I didn't expect the c64 to go so far.

I just watched this demo 3 minutes ago and it's hard to describe my feelings now. Few words come to mind: incredible, awesome, superb. Definitely one of the best demos out there. If this had been worse, I would have said something about the coloring style in used in the gfx, but since this wasn't, I won't :P

It was refreshing to watch this demo. Made up my mood to start coding again (not in C64, since I don't have one yet). My comments were wow and very enthousiastic there in www.pouet.net, so I am bored to repeat them :)

This one for sure belongs to the best of the best. The music, the grafics, the effects, everything just mind blowing! No ugly lores (if its lores, it's definatly not ugly), no black loading parts, no unfitting pics or parts that disturb the whole feeling of the show. Will take a permanent place on one of my disks.
Really sad it didn't work on x01 as it should have worked.

Mindblasting demo! This would've surely blown away the audience at X-2001 if it ran without glitches back then. This one's definitely destined to be a classic among the C64 demos. Welcome to the olymp of C64 burner demos, Insomnia!!!

Finally this demo has been released - especially after following the production a little (due to Vip being a Padua member as well), I could not wait to see the final result.

I simply love it. Great style and design, the mood is almost carried consistently throughout the demo. The transitions and the timing (music & effects) are great.

Also the introductory story line is quite nice - unfortunately it seems to end after the beginning of the story (the girl is sucked into the computer) - we seem to be stuck inside the computer together with her. I was sort of expecting some type of continuation or ending for the story ;-)

Great work, Vip and Raven are showing how to blend code, music and graphic to a unique design. It would be great to be able to creat moods and introduce more storystelling within future Padua demos as well.
