Sadly this filebrowser is somehow not compatible with the FC3 fastloader and NAV doesn't even start properly, when loaded with an active FC3 cartridge. This combination (NAV + FC3 fastloader) would have been not bad, on SD2IEC's.

I agree that it's hopeless, and I also agree that it was foolish of me to respond in the first place. As I said, when I discovered that NAV was in the CSDb I wondered how long it would take to get the kind of rude and immature comments you guys are famous for. Calling it out has produced exactly the expected result. So, I should have known better.

Thanks to the great majority of you guys who have had encouraging things to say, and thanks to the guys who've contacted me privately.

Redjac: Make your tool and have fun with it. It is hopeless... the spiral only go down the more words is said, it is sad but true. You say something and it is twisted and get out totally wrong, because others do not see the words as what they were ment, they will jump on your head for a wrong spelling if that were the only thing left.

The screen shoots do look cool! I think it is cool that you have this little project of yours and sure see in the screen shoots that you are having a great time setting it up too.

Don't take the criticism so personal, redjac. Keep on doing what you like to do.

I think it's a great effort and cool file browser. No matter if it's i done in Dotbasic, assembler or anything else. It's a joy seeing that people still to this day finds it fun to create programs for the C64. And I'm sure others will find it useful too. Keep it up.

I think it's nice. Don't think I'll use it though.

Isn't it the type of thing someone builds for himself initially, then is proud of his work and decides to share? We should applaud that.

Try assembly though, anything basic sucks ass ;)

I didn't ask for NAV or anything else of mine to be included on CSDb, by the way. I was kind of happy to see it here initially. Now I'm not so sure.

What a tool. You think that's what I asked for on my blog? His opinion of DotBASIC? Or yours? I couldn't possibly care less what your opinion is. So don't pretend that you or he are doing me some kind of favor by being dicks. You guys (or whatever) are sadly typical - looking for any excuse to criticize or belittle the work of others. Grow up, you aren't still 14.

I don't know DotBasic, so eventually one of these hundred new functions can do this? :P

that will not work well in basic though, you should atleast SEI before, and then also restore the kernal vectors.

When I saw NAV added to CSDB I wondered how long it would take to get a douchebag comment from some bed-wetting snot-nosed dork scener.

It's enough that I enjoyed writing it and many people seem to enjoy using it, I don't need to meet Count0 or anyone else's expectations of what is or isn't a 'waste of time.'

DotBasic? Sure wonder why people virtually waste time on creating such programs :(

If the programmer still likes to FC patch his program (not going to comment on a blog requiring registration):

sta $df00 ; disable action replay
sta $de00 ; disable retro replay
lda #%11110000
sta $dfff ; disable final cart3
