So much about that 8-bit stuff have no chance against big machines on a mixed multiplatform GFX compo.

interesting though i must confess i always was pretty negative for interlaced gfx , as in many ways they flickering and need good 1084 CRT to catch it without any jitter

Screenshot looks a lot better than the actual graphics.
The combination of $08 with $0a and $04 and even $0d looks pretty weird.
I like the shadow of the little dude though.

It's for sure great art and design and I like that the transitions work endlessly.

BUT(T)! terribly flickering gfx formats get even more annoying while scrolling. I bet know(!) you could have done this one as plain multicolor 2 screen, as well
