There's not one pixel in the wrong place here — awesome! Lovely color mixing too.

Wow, this is awesome! Great use of rasters and sprites to extend the picture out beyond the screen. And that weird and unique dither style that you have. Great stuff!

Brilliant work! Nice colorscales and work with rasterlines + sprites.

What a screen composition/design! <3 Not to mention, I find here many qualities I always loved about Joe's artworks but with your own touch to it. Colour combinations are just insane! <3 It's definitely my personal TOP3 (and really heavy battle with Duce and Electric).

Actually it is, but here +sprites only means that the gfx extends to the border to be punctual, not a sprite layer over a normal multicolor picture to have more colors. There are no sprites in the 160x200 area. There should be more options to choose from to specify in the description.

It's actually Multicolor+sprites. My fav from the compo. Excellent work!

My OCD took over and I made a comparison image: http://move.rupy.se/file/whatisgoingon.png

I guess my video is broken. But even the Transmission stream is narrower. Interesting!

I use an older VIC2...

XD Ok, I guess 1x1 pixels it is. This is not how it looks on my real hardware though.

Maybe it's my video that is wrong?! I use both composite on modern monitor and S-Video with GV-USB2... :o

Hi!
I updated the picture here with my real one used on the compo because the one uploaded here was wrong in many ways and I saw many of you have noticed that too.

I uploaded mine.

Weird upscaling... mods can revert if they dislike it...

If mods like to have an automatic solution for this I might be able to make it... would be cool for sids too!?

A moment of beauty captured in 8 bits. Love those checkerboard white pixels, gives a unique colour scheme!

@rupy The screen shot here on CSDb is just a screen shot representing the pixels of the picture, and the pixels here are of course in 1:1 aspect. The screenshot does not have any of the "effects" that come from the analog video.

This picture highlights that pixel-accurate screenshots do not represent that well how images look on the C64.

So beautiful and untypical colors in this one! Wow.

@HCL I agree, this what she looks like on my machine: http://move.rupy.se/file/sol_invictus.png

Does Vice not compensate for the pixel width or something?

Very nice and odd color scheme, btw current screen shot up there does not do the picture justice.
