@Walt thanks for the information. I checked the converter with Bonzai6col.gif and it works pretty great. I was looking for something like this, thanks! :D

A great pic, congrats!
The last IM Trooper gfx was saw from the 80s in a demo, and seeing that it was hard to imagine THIS level of details could be reached without FLI.
(Certainly (unfortunately) this gfx will not reach +4 platform due to missing HW sprites)

This tune brings it all back in 1983.
I was hanging around with my friend when i accidently kicked a can in his face whilst he was sat down on a bench and he threw a pen knife at me whilst i ran off.
I looked down at my leg at there was blood gushing like a tap from my leg.
Luckily the knife bounced off the bone in the side of my leg.
I put my hand over it whilst i ran home to try to stop it bleeding and went to the hospital to sort it out.
The nurse said if it was a few mm to the right it would have hit a main artery and i would be dead, so i was very lucky that day.
This song the trooper by iron maiden was being played on tv in my house by my bro's when i got home bleeding like fuck.
Awesome graphics & tune.

@DKT: See PicConv Bonzai PicConv V4.0 in the Samples folder there is the Bonzai6col.gif logo which uses the same principles:

The sprite layer is defined as overlay/underlay layer. That means that the sprites will be converted first and the pixels used for the sprites will be marked 'already converted'. When the next conversion (multicolor bitmap or chars) is done, it will use the remaining pixels and thereby no clashes :)

In the upcoming version of PicConv there is an auto-reload and convert options so you can set up your sprite areas, multicolor etc. and then draw in whatever program you like (that can save as GIF or BMP).

This picture will also be added under the Samples folder...

Awesome pic as always from CRRN! <3
I'm curious, do you use a special tool to draw on sprites together with MC, to put sprites in the right place with proper properties (colour, expansion, background)? Or is it "just" a cooperation work with coder and export of layers with additional colours (to sprites); keeping in mind the restrictions (f.e. max. no of sprites per line)?
Is there such tool, if yes, can you see the sprites usage during drawing?
