What happens in this game, took place 30 years before the events in "Miner 2049er". Just wanted to mention this important point, so that people get the overall context of the actions. :-)
Nice changes to the original game, by the way and i like the short intro. Loading-time indeed is a little bit long.

Thanks Ian, I'd tried it on my Ult 1541++ with Retro Replay as the fastloader and Jiffy DOS on Vice and Hoxs64, no configuration helped bar the usual initial first load. Just seemed a bit odd. The notion of loading it off an unmodded 1541 isn't one I want to think of :)

Loading lots of small files takes more time than loading a single big file on almost all physical disk devices, and on 1541 it's more evident.

Not wishing to moan, just curious why there's such a long load time for the main game..Just feels very long?

Nice game tho, will be giving this release some money..
