This program allows you to create your own NUVIE videos in the form of a .reu file, which you can then copy over to the SD-card, load them and view with nuvieplayer1.0.prg on either a 1541 Ultimate or a Chameleon cartridge sporting a 16 MB REU RAM expansion. For being able to load .reu files on 1541 Ultimate I you need our custom firmware, which is enclosed in this ZIP.

Simply copy the appl.bin file (Firmware) to the root of any SD-card, start your c64 with that SD-card inserted (no need to flash the firmware) and you can directly load .reu files in the 1541u filebrowser (it takes about 43 seconds to load it, so be patient). For 1541 Ultimate II, support for loading .reu should be included in the latest firmware (possibly also for the backported v2-firmware for the 1541 Ultimate I, we haven't tried this because it would kill our Ethernet!). For Chameleon, .reu support should already be included according to Jens, though we haven't seen NUFLI video on that yet.

You can also attach the .reu files in VICE, just make sure to make a copy first since VICE tends to erase the REU's content upon restarting.
