both versions on antidote and tdd actually were tested on several real machines and emulators, those will work as intended. don't know where you grabbed your version. as there is no download link in here, I don't see a point in discussing that here. where did you get it and does that version work for sure?

thats interesting (and really strange, i dont see any obscure stuff going on anywhere, it really should work, always =D)
or wait, idea... try typing the Y for the trainers blindly, maybe the text is just not visible?

strange. doesn't work on my second machine too. with neither 1541u nor mmcr nor nothing but 1541u standalone.

it works just fine on my c64 (also pal c64c), using either mmcr or chameleon.

Kinda nice... but LDA #xscroll STA $d016 LDA #yscroll STA $d011 would make it so much more pleasing to the eye ;-)

Release available at Psytronik site. :) The download version costs about nothing.

I actually live about 10 minutes walk from the guy who coded this - we went out for a few beers the other night ;)

It is a conversion of an MSX title that he used to play as a kid, and the first game he has ever programmed. He's currently working on another C64 game, and a 3D iPhone version of hyper viper that uses a very interesting perspective.

@Sixx gotta agree there, but the gameplay really starts at "fast mode" which is pretty nice and hectic :) all other gaming modes are a bit weak and the scrolling contributes to it.
Also this would definitely kick more ass if it had an ingame tune :)

I don't see any difference either I choose PAL or NTSC mode. Have not tried it on the real thing through. @Deekay and some others: The download should be available here in a couple of weeks. This way Psythronic will do at least a little bit of money and will continue to release commercial c64 games!

So does someone need to "import" this release to csdb first?

Good work. Like it. I have the original but Onslaught was faster than myself (not been in the mood ;o)
The highscore file is missing on the original game, too.

Could be a VERY nice game if the scroll routine were a little better. Is this some kinda' MSX conversion?

If I upload it here, will it be deleted?
