This is the loading screen designed for the game 2,000 Kung-Fu-Maniacs - part of the "Shoot Em Up Destruction Set II" compilation from Psytronik Software. I didn't have any involvement in the first game in this series (1,000 Kung-Fu Maniacs) and that game was shipped with a very simple loading screen. For the sequel I wanted to improve on the presentation of the first game so I produced this bitmap inspired by the 1,000 KFM packaging. My initial idea was to have a Japanese flag as a main feature in the pic and I wanted to try to copy the logo style from the 1,000 KFM packaging. I finished the pic off with some Ninjas - cos Ninjas are cool! I couldn't quite draw 2,000 of them - so you will have to make do with 5. ;) Oh, and I had a go at adding some watermarked oriental text (which hopefully spells NINJA!)
