There's no much melody in there, but instruments are making me happy. Sounds like FT2 xm or something. | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 27 October 2011
What wizardry is this ? Dicks up!
| User Comment Submitted by wacek on 27 October 2011
So I'm not the only one spotting Rhodes in there ;) | User Comment Submitted by booker on 27 October 2011
Yep, and this is only the beginning :D
Nice piece r. :) | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 26 October 2011
Wow! People, do go into your VICE settings and activate the second SID and set the base adress right! You won't regret it! Arrangement is nothing to write home about, but man, those SOUNDS! Randall pretty much made a perfect emulation of a Rhodes Piano on c64, and those blips and blops also sound like nothing you've ever heard on c64! Kinda makes you wonder if proper Breakbeat *is* possible on c64 after all - with Stereo SIDs! ;-)
Oh, and actually I do prefer 6581 (resid) to recommended 8580 (resid). Here, the Rhodes sounds even more like one, although there's a bit of clicking going on.. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 25 October 2011
totally weirdo tune. i only could appreciate it after relistening with headphones, lots of volume and bass =) | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 25 October 2011 User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 24 October 2011 User Comment Submitted by booker on 24 October 2011
Quoting JeffAnyways, I hope someone will make a recording of randall's tune, from a real c64 with 2 chips. :-)
I'd do that but Kisiel stole my chip at the party! :) | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 24 October 2011
Wacek, I'm really sorry, downvote me all the way. I promise to tell you everything i know @ Piernik, also ask me via mail/fb/csdb whenever you need a hint... | User Comment Submitted by wacek on 23 October 2011
I downvote this shit, where's my goddamn PROMISED GT basic workshop!? ;) | User Comment Submitted by Soren on 23 October 2011
Yeah, mp3 is probably not the best. I don't have much knowledge about such stuff though. :-)
Anyways, I hope someone will make a recording of randall's tune, from a real c64 with 2 chips. :-) | User Comment Submitted by Cresh on 23 October 2011
Busted!! :):
Honestly - I would always like to have FLAC from composer's hardware.
And I do appreciate you made it (mp3) for Evolver. | User Comment Submitted by Soren on 23 October 2011 User Comment Submitted by Cresh on 23 October 2011
Non modded c64 does not play mp3s, too. | User Comment Submitted by Soren on 23 October 2011
not workie-workie on my original non-modded c64s. uploading as mp3 might be better, if you ask me.
