Crazy Dream 10

This is a new Boulder Dash game with a
new set of caves. All caves are tested
and can be completed.

While the obvious part is a new Boulder
Dash game, there is much more under the
hood than this:

The engine is written from scratch and
has many advantages over the original
engine and all those modified versions
which appeared from the fan base over
the years.

Some of which are:
- adjustable number of levels and
hundreds of caves possible (all
preloaded into RAM)
- almost all cave parameters and objects
can be adjusted per level (while only a
few were possible with BD1 and BD2)
- slightly larger area for game graphics
then the original (8 more raster lines)

- a more steady display algorithm (using
speed code)
- a more reliable and steady timing
- tubro board support for an even more
steady timing (tested with Chameleon C64
and C64 dtv)
- dynamic sound channel allocation for
better polyphony
- designed with modding in mind (editors
will come eventually.)
- enhanced colors on C64 dtv with
distinct amoeba color (used on caves E,
J, M, S and intermission 3)
- a second predictible random number
generator without repeative patterns
(used on caves D, O, R and S)
- two amoebas per cave possible (used in
caves E, G and J)
- both dirt versions in one cave
possible (used in caves B, H, M, O, R,
T and intermission 5)
- an advanced maze generator (used in
caves M, O, Q, T and intermission 5)

It has in common with other Boulder
Dash:
- game physics
- Title melody
- one of the predictible random number
generators
- this game uses the original character
sets (plus some fan made characters)
- a top 20 highscore saver which looks
and acts like Prof. Knibble's.
