2 scrollers; totally oldskool hardcore. Not my thing. Nice SID tho.

We and Panoramic Designs had a small "war" with Flash inc, but it was harmless of course. Young and wild at heart, but some envy was a part of it I guess ;)
Didnt we greet c64.com ? Thats Morpheus :D

@morpheus: what we FORGOT??!??!!! well I'll try to remember that next demo :-). To be honset I don't remember we had any run-ins with Flash. Shape I do remember though, but that was a long, long time ago (and yes we were young).. Did we grow up? We are still making demos on an old computer, I think not...
Actually I thought you were on the greets list (I did not compile that list - I'll have to have a "word" with someone on that), but as it turned out Flash was left out... Greets to Flash :-) You will be remembered next time.

Cute litte thing. Are the sprite cubes already on disk or are the computed upon start?

Great to see Hoaxers back! But wait! No fuckings to Flash Inc.? Did you grow up or something? Love the side-border scroll and the music. The scroller in the second part is of course very cool. Keep 'em comin'!

Mace/Shine: I saw the 3D scroller in Pearls for Pigs version about a week ago and noticed the coincidental similarity myself, and quite frankly was a bit disappointed they look so much the same. I was pretty close to cancelling the whole part due to this, but chose to release it anyways due to the short time I had left.

As for the angle: this is the most obvious choice when animating a character set (8x8 pixels). You start with a 45 degree angled "depth block" and animate a 90 degree rotation.

agree with "Mace" ... it looks very similar (identical) ... somehow very curious

First time I saw that 3D/perspective scroller was in Pearls for Pigs.
This one is VERY much looking the same.
Is this a blatant rip of?

Eah, this is really cool to watch. I enjoyed it. And i "hate" it. Some time in the future, i will reveal why :)
