Totally love this one, grand master wizardry here! Fantastic. I do think that this one, and PAL’s pic, should’ve placed higher. This one probably would’ve been my winner.

Completely awesome. Funny, I just read the book last week.

Perfect interpretation of RP and superb code/design.

Nem változtál szerencsére pedig HiRes ember lettél :D

Damn. I would never be able to translate / explain it to English. It is about cats, pussies and pixels, okay?

Bloody awesome pic.

I wondered why a pic of a tiger was called Richard Parker, but then I saw The Life of Pi :) Awesome work.

great pixeling and great use of borders.... however, imho it looks better in the full screenshot than in the scrolling presentation on the real thing. pity.

This definitely shows that Leon has some of the best technical pixelling skills in this competition. The mixture of colours to represent the swirling water is really nice.

one of my favorite hires pictures from leon: nice, dynamic and colorful and i like "cats" in all the ways... and also like the sideborder sprites, really good idea and execution! :-)

Yes, border! Very colorful style. At some parts probably even a little bit too colorful. But still: amazing piece of art!

Border!
This is lovely and when I think about kittens I know that they normally don't go into water, which is a nice thing here.
Although you used a reference, I think you managed to do your own image very well.

At first glance, I didn't even see the tiger...like at all. Saw some weird alien face in there, which is gone now, but the impression remains. The hires execution is flawless.

I think this one is absolutely fantastic and one of my favourite all time pictures on CSDB. If there will ever be a real life gallery with C64 images, this one goes on the wall front and center. Well done, Leon!
