Could not get the program to start (on Win7.) The error log complained of being unable to load keylayout.
Edit: interesting, it has to be started from GUI, starting from command prompt produces the error. | User Comment Submitted by NVitia on 29 April 2013
Here's what the developer (Delek) said about memory
"Depends how much macros do you use. The C64 has very little RAM space, so can be filled with lot of volume changes easily.
The artist shoul be very careful with this.
However, the play routine will be optimized in the next release."

iAN: Thanks for the hint!
Anyway it can come handy to create some retro game audio tracks in SNES / Gameboy whatever style. It would have come handy for some of my Polygame projects. Well if it had MIDI support :) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 28 April 2013
resulting sids are not only poor in quality but also take all memory for few seconds of music; definately avoid it. | User Comment Submitted by Sixx on 27 April 2013 User Comment Submitted by 4mat on 27 April 2013
I'm glad this is here, very impressive piece of work. | User Comment Submitted by NVitia on 27 April 2013
DefleMask is a free Cross-Platform tracker for producing music for many soundchips and old school systems.
Using this multiple soundchips support, DefleMask can compile music for Commodore 64. |
