@iAN: Times change. In old days the cracks were not instantly available to everyone. It took some time to spread them by modem (300-2400 baud, yeah!), snailmail or hand-to-hand. We usually just simulate this delay. ;) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 20 August 2013
since when crackers should show respect to game makers? crackers should show some balls and release cracks, stop this gay attitude :D | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 20 August 2013
@JTR: Like mentioned below: This game (incl. Remix) was already publicly available for several years, that's the difference in this case. | User Comment Submitted by Jak T Rip on 20 August 2013
While it's true that today nobody makes C64 games for the money, it still is a motivation boost if you have a couple more sales on a game you've worked on for years. I was also hoping that we had reached to some kind of unspoken agreement that it's fair play to crack the game a couple months after the release but not earlier. If for nothing else than to show some respect.
Thumbs up for the game btw! | User Comment Submitted by Kenz on 15 July 2013 User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 27 June 2013 User Comment Submitted by Didi on 25 June 2013
I personally do not think making an enriched collection of old stuff available as "crack" today will cut the sales. People who really purchase this kind of stuff want to own it as original in a nice package to put it on a shelf and show it. The package is not included in a download. Making the game available for preview may even encourage them to buy it.
I generally think nowadays only a few enthusiasts spend money on C64 games and they will buy the jewel package regardless if the plain game is available as free download or not. Noone sane really develops a game for C64 today to get rich. The few bucks you can earn with it cannot be the main reason. It's a small additional goody at best but no real impulsion. | User Comment Submitted by Heavy Stylus on 25 June 2013
This game has been available to buy for what, a few weeks, and is already here as a downloadable crack? Come on Laxity, show a bit of support to the developers making these games and keep the download link off the site until they are available for free. | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 25 June 2013 User Comment Submitted by Sixx on 25 June 2013
May i ask why this commercial game is available for download from CSDB? | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 25 June 2013 User Comment Submitted by Matt on 25 June 2013

I couldn't find it anywhere. | User Comment Submitted by The Gothicman on 24 June 2013 User Comment Submitted by Didi on 24 June 2013
Yes, the "Remix" is the same version Triad and Onslaught released in 2004 as Preview v2.
The "classic" version is a modification of the game currently present on Gamebase64. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 24 June 2013
they made appear the original preview as a "remix", while it's the same that was already spread by ONS and Triad in 2004. | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 24 June 2013
