For the first time I just liked the C+4 version more, but after looking at those two side by side, I prefer this version :) Good job, m8!

to me the c64 one looks like the original picture, and the plus4 one like a desperate attempt on converting it to another palette - which failed =P

especially the background looks a lot better in the c64 version, imho. and the green eye in plus4 one is just... WAT
