Fantastic! I love that it feels very clean for a Petscii, and still has the Petscii charm. What kills my enthusiasm for Petscii is when a pictures includes too many random characters. This picture has a clear set of petscii characters and uses them well. I'm also fascinated by how the guy's eye is drawn, I think it's strange that it works so well, and you really get the guy's attitude. Colours and style is also A+. This might be my favourite Archmage piece of graphics since his Andromeda logo. Thumbs up!

As with Vanja's entry, I find it amazing that even in a petscii picture, the creator's own style shines through so brilliantly. F''kin' A, Håkon!

Dipswitch: PC Ansi? This compo shows that the C64 kicks Amiga and PC butt over and over again. C64 once started the scene, and is saving the scene. ;)

You really went out of the box. Usually, I seen black backgrounds. But by making the background gray, you had the chance to use black as a color in the face as shadows. Nicely done.

Wow!... Absolutely stunning! I love these fresh new styles and ideas that are showing up now that people that normally don't do PETSCII are trying it! ;-) It was the reason I got into PETSCII in the first place back in '92, it simply annoyed me that in all those BBS-gfx pretty much EVERYONE was using the same 12 4x4/Zoom4 characters *only*, and totally ignored the rest of the charset!...

I think we're right now witnessing something major in the C64 history. 2013 was the year when contemporary graphicians embraced PETSCII - and it was acknowledged by a wider audience. A craft that was previously only carried out by a few BBS- and text nerds ;-) Wonder what impact this might have on demos to come... Wow. I am full of reverence having experienced this! <3
