Back in 1993 i was living in the same house, located in Hull, UK, as Uzzy, Riot and Gremlin (all members of Entropy). Outrun 93 came about after i had been having fun pixel pushing some sprites to hack into the official release of Outrun by U.S. Gold. It was actually Riot who added the sprites to the game, and changed the what shades of grey were used for the 3D road effect. So there you have it ^_^
If i had my way, i would have added a hires yellow colored sprite to represent the female's hair color. I would have also re_worked the exhaust smoke effect. We had to draw the line somewhere. |
