Looking at Shockwave and Ransack, it uses the same packer, same style, mentions "the music" and it has the same raster indicator. I will therefore assign the release to Wally Beben. | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 12 January 2014
It could be easily a first set for Winter Olympiad. When Tynesoft weren't satisfied he did a second.
Never heard there was a C64 version of that C16 game intended. Was this advertised? | User Comment Submitted by Fred on 11 January 2014
Winter Olympiad already has music from Wally Beben. I don't think he would make 2 different musics for the same game but who knows.
Another possibility is that it was made for the C64 version of the game Winter Events. Winter Events was released by Kingsoft for the C16/+4. However the C64 version of the game was never released. | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 11 January 2014
I guess they are more likely done for Winter Olympiad '88 by Tynesoft. | User Comment Submitted by Fred on 10 January 2014
Looks like the tunes are made for the Epyx game: "The Games - Winter Edition Events" but apparently the music from Chris Grigg and Chris Ebert were eventually used for that game. | User Comment Submitted by Fred on 10 January 2014
Is this music demo released by Wally Beben himself? |
