Loving the shadow work. Not so keen on the statue as it looks a bit flat, but nice job. I agree about the point and click comment. Could be interesting. | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 2 October 2014
i like the shadows work here very much. i would like the see the picture without the cats , i think it will even nicer | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 1 October 2014
not so fond of the statue.
but all in all, a very good one, perspective and shadows make sense | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 1 October 2014
I second Scarzix's idea, this could become a great adventure with dedicated coder and story author. | User Comment Submitted by bugjam on 1 October 2014
Very nice. @ Scarzix @JSL: you even would not need a coder to make your adventure - check out D42: http://www.out-of-order.info/ . Unfortunately German only for the moment... | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 1 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by leonofsgr on 1 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by St0rmfr0nt on 1 October 2014

on second thought (and edit doesn't work) rabbits don't have a tail :p | User Comment Submitted by xIII on 1 October 2014
White cat looks more like a rabbit to me but over all a nice picture. | User Comment Submitted by Matt on 1 October 2014
This reminds me of the little courtyard in Verona where the statue of Juliet is. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 1 October 2014
In case if anyone didn't notice - shadows have penumbra - really nice detail ;] | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 1 October 2014
really good lighting and depth in there, you are improving, nice piece! | User Comment Submitted by Scarzix on 1 October 2014
wondering JSL, with all these locations, have you every considered to make a graphical "point-and-click" adventure, like good old Monkey Island, Loom, Maniac Mension etc? I mean, if you just left out the "characters" from the images and then animated some sprites, you were almost done graphically? and no, I am not joking or trying to make fun. I am quite serious, it could be interesting to play an adventure game from your imagination? I'll bet it would include a LOT of locations?
btw. I like the grass on this one, and the statue, and nice usage of gradients. There are a couple of things I would have "done differently" if I was a graphician, but hey - its your image. | User Comment Submitted by Shine on 1 October 2014
I like this too Johan ... nice motive! ;) | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 1 October 2014
I like this one! *thumbsup* | User Comment Submitted by JSL on 1 October 2014
Last weekend, in my Spread Email towards my contacts.. I wrote, this is Leon's Palace, with it's cats, and a statue of his beloved Wife.. So if you think that is Leon, and has tits.. Well, keep coming with the jokes.. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 1 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by JSL on 1 October 2014
Followup to Leon's Town, the Palace Leon/Singular lives, among his Cats.. D64 has All Workstages (and viewer), Enjoy... ;) |
