I mean the upper arm. Not the hand. Sorry.

I don't like the too colorful "paint rain" and the seemingly causeless blue light on Samson's cloak, but I must admit that apart from these and the inaccurate anatomy of the hand it's just perfect.

Yes, Leon was busy to do a lot of graphics for other releases beside his entry.

Btw. I think the relative silence here (and votes) here are telling.

Many probably don't understand how the results came out like this. After all it's "clear" that it should have been different.

Conspiracy theories and the fictional local Leon fan club aside, my theory is that the results are not all that surprising.

Not surprising because most of the compo voters missed Leon's previous works, except maybe from last year or before.

Lot's of people came to meet old scene friends and are otherwise not that active any more to follow each and every release under the sun for the rest of the year. Or are active but on different platforms, so don't care that much about C64 stuff normally.

So it's not that apparent that there were many different releases from Leon before and how they compare, or what the state of the art is now, or what format a picture is in, etc.

It's a good picture if you don't factor in too much in the decision and just have a naive look. Or it depends. I'm just a coder ;)

So if you want to express your opinion and influence results in the way you'd like to have it, please vote at our compo too!

Too much work got into the demo and I think this is not the usual quality Leon brings us..
I like the idea better than the execution..
