Thanks guys for your feedback! This time I had plenty of time to finish this, although I should've run this one more time with real C64 to get the snares right. The bass&kick combination was the very foundation of this track, and everything else was built around them.

the bass/kick combo screams acid, which is rather unusual for such a melancholic pop tune with such a load of nice chord changes and such a consistently - may i say pretty? - lead.

Fucking awesome lead. Galway-class anthemic feel. To nitpick a little, the backing could be slightly more lively, but in reality the melody line makes up for it totally :)
