Trivia Info
Submitted by legendre on 30 November 2015
Like modern PCs, the C-64 typically follows the 8/N/1 serial protocol, whereas the older TTY machines use a 5-level Baudot type code. The two systems are not directly compatible, so an active, intelligent software is required to maintain translation between the two standards. Additionally, the M15 TTY machines run at a fixed speed of 45.45 baud.
