| Hi Groepaz, thanks for the feedback, I wasn't aware there was a documented source code floating around (not talking disassembly here) of BHP, I found a pretty good writeup on it by Symantec though. If you in any case know where I can get a copy of BHP and that magazine with the virus tutorial you'll make me a happy person. |

| na, not the first documented one.... a dissection of the BHP virus existed for a ling time, and there even was a virus programming tutorial once in some mag (magic disk iirc) |

| No, it's certainly not the first, there are more viruses residing in the 1541 memory, like HIV2. Difference it though that this one is slightly shorter and it allocates a sector for its code instead of overwriting a sector at track 19 regardless whether it was allocated. It's nothing novel, but it's the first fully documented source code of how a virus works on the C64. |

| Cool Idea to keep the virus in the diskdrive instead of daah CPU. Is that a first for the 64 or do the old virii do that as well? |
