These fine releases were an inspiration for this little tool:
1. "Hi-Red Colour Fader V2.0" released 1994 by Grize/Shazam (Fader V2). Oldsk00l, but does basically the same job just fine.
2. "Screen Fade Editor" released 2011 by Zielok/Miracles (Screen Fade Editor). Thanks so much for this tool, Zielok! I just adapted your idea for our (AC) needs.

What It Can Do
--------------
- running on linux and windows (mac binary planned for the future)
- loading a background image in quite a few image formats (to be extended in the future if requested)
