1: While listening to this in the compo, I thought "this sounds like Linus" and I was surprised when I learned I guessed right. :)
2: I wasn't prepared to competing with you before X! ;)

You guys really have your own style. Technically brilliant, always spot-on with the instruments and beat. I really enjoy your SIDs, although from a listeners perspective, I find them a little challenging lately. Linus' Jazz Piano lessons start to pay off here, I guess. ;) It takes me two or three loops until I get used to them, but then they absolutely thrill me. This tune is no exception, running here for 15 minutes now :)

Please, continue pushing the limits of C64-music! I hope to meet you personally on X. :D

time for an extra honest review, because you're worth it ;)

when the sax kicks in after 8 seconds, I immediately think of LMan, nice touch. And he's not the only one that got covered one way or the other :)

As soon as the beat kicks in, this sid really shows it quality. The wet baseline and drums are out of this world, for me it's the red line that connects the track as a whole.
The jazzy melody, while there's a shitload going on, is very nice and easy to bob your head to.
The only minor criticism would be the noisy intermezzos at 01:17 and 01:55, I believe those could be bridged more elegantly ;)

Great track guys, cant wait for the album!

Ah! A PRG file :) Somehow both Playsid and Ryk's convert tool crashed on this when I tried to extract the file from .SID, so we had run the file as it was using 1541 Ultimate's sid player.

Absolutely awesome soundset, but the style and melody is of course totally for nerds, and I'm totally, like, primitive.
