Just few days before the first publishing of his awaited book about the history of Gremlin Graphics, Mark Hardisty has launched a dedicated site full of memorabilia, pictures, stories, whatever, about the famous software house. Among all, there are some source files donated by Anthony J. Clarke, mostly regarding C16/Plus4 games developed under the Micro Projects label.
Two of those games have some C64 sourcefiles too.

Tycoon Tex C64 looks like an attempt just to see how the whole stuff would run on a different machine than a C16. Being a straight porting with large re-use of graphics and code, there's no actual SFX and no sprites involved.
The color masks assigned level per level to the upper city background graphics reveals that they've been set to show the same background as seen on the original C16 version, though that file hasn't been added in the source folder.
Labeled as 'preview', the game is actually fully and flawlessly working.
