Well, we thought we had more or less all classic tunes ripped, so the constant flow of new rips and bad rips (fixes) actually surprised us. I think this is when Shark and I decided we needed some more members, some from a 'newer' generation to help out. Look where we are now.. If all sceners using CSDB are here in 20 years also, I can only guess how big HVSC is at that time...

Quoted from the accompanying Update01.hvs file:

# After this update, the collection should contain around 4473 SID tunes!
# There are 441 new SIDs in the update, but we also found a handful of
# repeats (around 65). These, of course, shall be eliminated after
# you run UPDATE. Thanks to the efforts and ideas of Piccolo, from
# the next release and on, we will have an automated way of finding
# repeats within HV SIDs. This will save everyone involved a lot of time
# since the collection has become extremely large for one to remember all
# of the tunes.

Looking at todays HVSC, don't you just have to grin all over the face when reading this? :-]
