Summary

Controls:
Directions: Move to specified direction (no diagonals)
Fire: Drop currently selected bomb (if you have any)
Hold fire when not moving: Enter menu, where you can select which bomb to use.

There's no single player mode, and the game supports 4 player joystick adapter for max. 4 players at a time.

The game is a bit like Dynablaster/Bomberman, but like the original Mine Bombers, the main focus is collecting treasures from the levels. Of course killing your opponents helps too, but in this version, you don't get any points for doing that (yet), and the level timer accelerates each time a player dies.

Original also has a shop, where you can buy bombs, which this version currently lacks.

And of course, this version still has quite a few bugs. But this is the version used in the compo (with a few minor fixes).
