came across this while checking out random games this rainy midnight, whoahh!!! stunning. i'm playing on a little CRT over composite with heaps of colour bleeding and it's magic <3 | User Comment Submitted by Doc Snyder on 30 October 2021 User Comment Submitted by Flotsam on 16 September 2020
May very well be my favourite C64 intro ever. | User Comment Submitted by AüMTRöN on 14 August 2019
Wireframe heaven!
Deserved the compo vEctory! (sorry) | User Comment Submitted by Hammerfist on 7 January 2017
This is how you design an intro! I am curious about the triangles. Is the decision to not let the bottom overlap the ground effect a coding limitation or a style choice? I didnt even realize the first couple of times and now that I saw it, it wont let me go
Lovely work, Mermaid! | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 6 January 2017 User Comment Submitted by taper on 29 December 2016

How could I miss this one? A really great intro, reminding me of good old Battle Zone and the likes. Way to go Mermaid <3 | User Comment Submitted by Jak T Rip on 30 November 2016 User Comment Submitted by Zierliches Püppchen on 22 November 2016

very cool work and style. love it!! | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 12 November 2016
The coolest part was the music which was really nice and well suited to the context. Really! One detail that disturbed me a bit is that there was a tiiiny bit of rounding of the corners in the upper part of the GP logo, which counteracted the harsh vectorized feeling a little bit. | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 12 November 2016
Top notch! Mermaid, you just can't do it wrong! | User Comment Submitted by saulc12 on 12 November 2016
Love tha atmosphere on this one... | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 12 November 2016

Very un-C64-ish (in a good way)!
Only remark I have is the motion of the nearest horisontal line, which kind of accelerates too fast its last few visible frames. Otherwise, splendid as always! | User Comment Submitted by Richard on 11 November 2016
Great design and also very atmospheric music. :) | User Comment Submitted by Pantaloon on 11 November 2016 User Comment Submitted by Yzi on 11 November 2016
Wow! Fresh style. The music has a few seemingly inadvertently dissonant notes, but after listening to it a few times they start to feel like they belong there. | User Comment Submitted by Cruzer on 11 November 2016
Wow, the standard for the compo has been set! | User Comment Submitted by Mixer on 11 November 2016
... and all those hours of playing Battle Zone. Great work. | User Comment Submitted by morphfrog on 11 November 2016
