Frost: i dont need attention of the scene even though feedback and criticism is always well appreciated. But seriously your opinion?!: "you can do better?" better what?. I make music and even love converting from time to time because: Its simply fun to figure out the notes by only listening and trying to get sort of an original feeling on the c64. its all about passion. i also appreciate original music more. Still i allways do what i like to and you dont have to like it. i have converted more than this tune because i like to do it. not everyone necessarily needs to be a attention whore HAHA ;)
For everyone else: Enjoy

Frost: It is what it is. I wouldn't call a cover tune a ripoff. Steel made the very nice cover tune first, and we made something nice around it. I do, however, understand your point in doing stuff completely out of a "new" idea and concept. That is of course the best way to create art (even if no piece of art stands free from impulses), instead of building it upon an already finished (and in this case commercial) concept. Still: This is a cover of the music, and people should be able to do that too. :) Take it for what it is. At least it's not a whole demo about Game of Thrones. You can enjoy the rest of our demos, I am sure. No one of them are "cheap ripoffs".

This is a nicely produced release in all aspects but the thing that it is a boring ripoff of extremely boring popular culture. Like, really. It is boring. FFS. Game of thrones! It is like if you would be really bored and in desperate need of some kind of support from the rest of the scene.
It is cheap. Probably cheaper than the recent Star Wars themed demos...
I know that you can do better, and doing this kind of... well kind of... isn't good.
Are you 40+ artists without any new ideas or are you 40+ aritst than can actually come up with something new?
pls.

tl;dr: this is good but the theme sucks, the idea sucks and I know you could do so much better.
pls, do something _new_ next time. I would love it.

edit: And yes... Actually, I think something can be better if there a slight bit of anger in it. Let's do it! <3

Very nice, Steele, really well adapted! Am I the only scener that CONSTANTLY hears Out Run's "Magical Sound Shower" during the GoT Intro and feels the world needs a Mashup of the two tunes? 8)

Check it out, it's even got the same transposition (at 0:59):
