In the intro, the Golem comes back to talk to the Wizard. Being blue, the Golem is from the "Dark" side. Did you notice that in the original game Archon, the Golem actually is from the "Light" side? He obviously changed fronts in the meantime. He represents your good friend whom you lost contact with after he left the C64 for Amiga. ;)
