Color Bar already submitted a 40-byte version, although that one does make use of an illegal opcode.
I'm not sure about spending bytes on clearing Y. It gets its value from $30e, which is cleared on reset. And this program already relies on some RAM ($fe, $ff) being prepared in a particular way during reset.
