Great idea to choose the original download file for this release.

Yes, wherever there are games you will find crackers, but... Most people I speak to are surprised that games are still made for the C64, so I think it is fair to say it is surprising there is still an active cracking scene.

personal, I find it ridiculous that anyone is surprised cracking scene exists and if anything gets released, it will be "cracked" immediately. Deal with it or don't release anything.

Ian, I am somewhat surprised you are explaining fair requests from devs as "whining".. Is that a personal or csdb official standpoint?

Many thanks, works great with the rip from my original disk.

Ian CooG: I know the background of hidden commercial releases. Did it several times.
But it is a new Entry for the patch that
we should have done.
No new game entry if the patch is not
included IN the updated release.

Sentinel: the files are actually there but get deleted after upload to "hide" them to normal users, an habit to keep currently sold commercial games makers from whining that cracks are made publicly available here. They still are available all over the place but this at least keeps them from whining with CSDb owner. An upload is required to be a valid entry. Then you can choose to delete it afterward to protect the game author.
The file isn't actually deleted but just the link to it removed from the entry, all is stored to CSDb server anyway. Mods and trusted users can still see the link from the editing log. The download link will be made available again in due time, ideally after a year.
The fix was uploaded one hour or so after the first upload so I'm for keeping an eye closed for this time but technically a new version ALWAYS need a new entry.
Just to clarify how things work.

The game file never was available.
It's just the patch which was added.

"I rebuild the CRT. Works now."

Doesn't this mean that the new upload should be a new release entry on CSDb?

For the owners of the digital download, you can patch your D64 > CRT.

Download Floating IPS https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/1040/

Start it
Select "Apply Patch"
Choose "sydney_hunter_[excess]_zip.bps"
Choose "sydney-hunter_final.d64" <<< THIS IS YOUR DIGITAL COPY
Select Output File "sydney_hunter_[excess].zip"
Done

Good spot. "RUN STOP SEE END SEQUENCE ?" only works when "UNLIMITED KEYS ?" selected. I rebuild the CRT. Works now.

Press C=, after the sequence it simply crashes.
Also enabling R/S to see end sequence crahshes after seeing it.
And btw seems like R/S cheat is enabled only if I enable ALL the trainers, if I select just that, it doesn't work.
