I posted this on FB yesterday: "The picture is completely handpixelled by Oxidy, but as the original composition is not Oxidy's this is regarded as a copy, thus disqualified. Still it is a cool picture, but rules are rules."

Shine, actually I wasn't aware of that rule until Seven pointed it out. However, at Gubbdata I still wanted to be transparent regarding the fact that I didn't come up with the original motive. I honestly thought it was ok as long as it was a 100% pixeled picture.

Oxidy ... you knew the _no-copy_ rule from the Gubbdata organisators and competed anyway?
In any case, i am pretty sure that hedning will find a gentle and wise approach for this. :D

It was no secret at Gubbdata that it was a copy. I told many people this, and also that it was made as a result of trying out my (yet unfinished) pixel editor. It's completely hand pixeled though. But you're right Seven. If the rule is there we can consider this entry null and void. I had no intention of anything besides adding some AT-AT joy to our otherwise ordinary Gubbdata lives. :)
