Jazzcat: Rules updated.
"10. The "Goofs" field and "broken" tag is aimed at the scene release in question. A goof is meant to document bugs in the release; for a crack that means bugs inflicted by the cracking group - not bugs that is in the original game. The "Broken" tag is used for signalling a broken release, again inflicted by the crackers or coders for example. For demos "broken" can be used if a release crashes and a newer version that works exist. Don't confuse the "broken" tag with the corrupted files (a bad copy, where the disk is trashed), that is covered and tagged editing the file in question when uploading."

I think the tag definition varies on here compared to the mag. | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 12 August 2018
Jazzcat: I will bring it up, and update if necessary. Isn't your new version regarded as a 101% version as you fixed bugs that were in the original? | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 12 August 2018
Updated. Removed first release tag as 100% version supercedes.
Is this tag info available on the DB help? (if not, would be nice to share for those reading that section). | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 12 August 2018
I believe the "broken" status is for bugs inflicted by the crackers (same goes for "goofs"). So this version is not broken, per se. The hiscore-bug is the same in the original. | User Comment Submitted by zbych on 4 August 2018
Of course the game is free to download BUT original link gives opportunity to buy a beer for the developer (donate/support) and CSDB don't. | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 3 August 2018 User Comment Submitted by Moloch on 3 August 2018
Discussion about rules should be kept to the forums | User Comment Submitted by alwyz on 3 August 2018
And afterlife is running 24/7 and is an NTSC scene board, so please feel free to upload NTSC releases there. | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 2 August 2018
So this one is a race using the 24 hour rule. Antidote and The Hidden were down during the period we tried to upload ours. So we went with Reflections and the backup BBS Rapidfire, which we were first on. I have since messaged LA*Style who has put The Hidden backup and messaged Taper who confirmed he rebooted Antidote. Cheers guys. | User Comment Submitted by Didi on 2 August 2018
Technically brilliant it seems, but gameplay appears to be simple Trailblazer in a tube. ;) |
