Yeah there are few moments where the flow might not be 100% perfect, the Hawking part and some loading/decrunching black screens.

But that's nitpicking on a very high level when we talk about such a masterpiece, just btw I also love the wonderful track by OMP which matches the overall quality.

And now shut up and take my 10

@Raistlin Thank you for those comments... there is a special reason why the Hawking part stand there a while... first his life was very slow on the outside but fast on the inside... and just maybe there is more to the part? I do not know... check again. :-) Take care... last comment from me on this one.

I love the effects actually... the helical scroll is really nice, the animations great (and a different way of displaying them that’s nice), music and graphics great... just really solidly put together. And it’s definitely impressive that you all put these things together for each party, not just one release each year or two years.
a
Being 100% honest, while I like the effect and the pic on the Hawking page, I would maybe have sped that page up a bit, had less text. It’s difficult though when we program these things and it takes ages sometimes - and then when we put it into a finished demo it’s there for 10-15 seconds... we want people to watch for longer to understand the pain we went through to make it ;-)

A solid demo though, looking forward to see what you guys do for X.

@Stinsen ... nahhh... my respond were just directly aimed at the organiser of Datastorm and the compos there... and tried to be a bit ironic... ;-) Ofcourse we will bring it! Usually the Organisers of such parties are happy that people bring demos for their show :-)

@PAL: You should have learned to spot those trolls by now, this is the internet. ;)

On topic I LOVED the demo, so nice to have this contributed to DS on an X year. And the tune, my god OMP. <3
Probably my favorite tune from all of DS compos.

Sorry for bringing a demo to Datastorm, will never do that again! From the looks of it it will be super without us trying, just go bananaz to deliver and to bring a extra demo to support the great party... We will never do that again. Or, maybe we will but I will not be part of that. Looking forward to X as a lot others I think... very sad that the democompo at Datastorm have been so limited in contributions, guess it was a told story as everyone said that it would be not that great in the year of X.

Raistlin, nah, my comment was simply an answer to your comment about seeing what the groups can do individually. I share your thoughts on competition being fun, but we’ve got a pretty party intense summer this year, so I wouldn’t expect the compos being very dense in terms of releases. And additionally for us the summer weather in Scandinavia so far has been the worst possible demo wise since forever. ;-)

I for one am doing the commodore 64 demos as a hobby... with some insane great benefits in my life... to be creative and have lots of fun but most important to be with my best friends and do something we all like... Going on trips 4-6 times a year together, meeting up all the time, have our slack together and just be us friends together. I think that is what we are about - demo group-names aside, haha, jolly.... we are people, we are great friends in life!

Ah yes, I see that. Apologies if it came across as offensive. I’d just love to see the compos being more competitive again - the collabs mean that 3 groups enter as 1 where maybe they could’ve entered 3 separate smaller demos instead...

Six and two threes really...

Raistlin, just click the groupname of choice and check some other productions out. E.g. for fairlight specifically the datastorm demo from last year. Offence has some pretty hardcore stuff in their track record too.

Nice helix DYPP and, yeah, as others have said, nice anims. Congrats on the collab. I’d love to see what the groups can do individually as well.
