I have withdrawn this one, as it falls foul of the rules on continuous block. I assumed I was allowed $4000 bytes for code and other assets. This one is from $0800-$47xx. I didn't consider that using $0400-$07e7 for screen ram and sprite pointers at $07f8-$07ff counted as 'more'. Didi offered to allow me to resubmit within 24 hours, but I am away and it's not possible to do this now.

My view on intros is that they should be really compact, which sort of rules out any bitmap.

Having said this, is a bleeding nice picture and a highly nicely polished piece of code!

Very impressive picture! Love the shading and color choices. Green for white feather, I wouldn't have thought of that but it works wonders! Very cool entry :)
