Commodore 128 Adaptation of Singer's Star Lanes / Zaitseff's Star Traders - by XmikeX, 13-DEC-2018
- A MINOR HISTORICAL REINCARNATION
Nothing spectacular here, of course. This is just an exercise in re-learning how to adapt "other BASIC" to BASIC V7, how to minimize/crunch BASIC V7 script, how to use the 128's screen editor to some advantage, and how to tool with the ABACUS BASIC 128 V1.03 compiler. This release follows the original game closely, with C-128 screen editor enhancements.
The game is best played with more than one person. Single player mode is best for learning the game mechanics. The mechanics displays elements of Go and Generic StockMarket Play. The mechanics are simple but it is worth reading the help documentation provided inside the game. |
