So that's a 'Yes' iAN? Thanks! *smack* | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 27 January 2019
I don't see any drama, or are you trying to make one?
I just see people badly handling a CSDb entry and we are here as janitors cleaning up the mess done by users. | User Comment Submitted by Martinland on 27 January 2019
Jammer: Thanks, WIL is quite sharp and creative indeed - he already demonstrated to us his new SCOL ("Switching Color") graphics mode... ...no release so far. ;-)
Alright then, iAN, for the love of C64: WIL has already prepared a (minor, of course!) update resulting in a fixed version (2.0 or whatever) - will we be able to release *that* officially at the meeting (coinciding with a release on CSDb whilst our gathering is still in progress) without any further interference?
I'm asking because I really can't stomach any more surprises with an occupation that brings zero money - nothing depends on it (right??) - and should be a joyful and rewarding experience - I hope you get my drift.
Thanks for any insights, iAN.
(Thankfully the scene drama comments won't be part of that fixed release's entry... *phew*) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 27 January 2019
"This release was made for CTG$2B specifically and does say so."
Still it doesn't contain ANY information about the event. Don't manipulate the entry with non existant infos. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 27 January 2019 User Comment Submitted by Martinland on 27 January 2019
Alright, WIL, if you say so. I am deeply sorry for the scene drama - my very first comment below still holds. I am glad you made this release (for us), it received interesting comments and quite a few downloads already. Nice work! See you at the meeting. READY. | User Comment Submitted by wil on 27 January 2019
iAN, Martin, it's not a problem for me if this doesn't count as a party release. I'm happy that I could publish this release on CSDB and I'm very encouraged by the positive feedback. I'm sure there will be possibilities for CTG party releases in the future. | User Comment Submitted by Martinland on 27 January 2019
iAN: Hm, so he who didn't know all these very specific details and is motivated and full of joy gets burned? Nice solution...
...anyway: I guess we will have an improved version to release at the meeting, right? ;) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 27 January 2019
It is already released, and it will stay.
If said party hasn't already happened and this release isn't released there, just remove the party reference, it's that simple.
Done. | User Comment Submitted by Martinland on 27 January 2019
Goat: Easily explained - WIL is quite motivated and created this release especially for our next meeting. He's new to CSDb and I asked him to create an entry for himself, so he went ahead and created the release entry as well. Hm.
Do you know how to fix this? I never had this problem before. ;-)
Either we make the entry invisible until then, or we post-date the entry during the meeting (if all this is possible at all), or...
...we leave it just the way it is, because as you can see it's intended for our meeting, and everybody in real life will see it for the first time there.

How can this be released at the mentioned party, when it is already released two weeks before the party?? | User Comment Submitted by Martinland on 26 January 2019
Very groovy, WIL! I am looking forward to experience this and your presentation thereof at the meeting! :)
See you there,
ML

Nothing new really but well executed. | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 26 January 2019
Ha! Nice use of ”Interrupts”! | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 26 January 2019
first thought it's another cheap escape to assembler from BASIC approach, but this one is really clever :) | User Comment Submitted by Compyx on 26 January 2019
Sweet. Image some people wanting to ban BASIC releases from CSDb =P |
