@Jailbird: this was ambient compo ;) | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 18 April 2019
Leonard this is cool but nowhere cool as the best ever song on C64, Cauldron 101% +++, which is the BEST stuff E V E R. | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 21 March 2019
Quote:A "making of" would be nice :-)
Years ago my dog stumbled upon my keyboard when I was goattrucking(tm) away, messing up pattern lengths and stuff :/ That ol' bitch accidentally even rendered the sid file without saving the songdata. Fast forward a couple of years and here I am trying to sell the track as high-art to you guys. | User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 20 March 2019
A "making of" would be nice :-) I'm undecided on this one. It holds many little surprises, but also gets boring sometimes. It's one of the better ones in the "infinite loop" SID category, but I feel there's a lot more potential in this topic. Endless potential, I guess ;-P | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 20 March 2019
For me it's perfect crossbreed between ambient and idm ;) | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 14 March 2019
Yeah, agree.. Nice one, but too hectic tempo to be classified as "ambient" in my ears/brain. | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 14 March 2019 User Comment Submitted by Thunder.Bird on 14 March 2019
Call me crazy, mad or weird... I listened to it for 1h29m now and I really love the part the bass-melody-line comes back. xD wuihehehehehe | User Comment Submitted by Mibri on 14 March 2019
Most of what I'm hearing is a bit too brisk and 'busy' for me to discern much of an ambient feel, but it's bloody good nonetheless. A proper journey, and the polyrhythms that are emerging are keeping me listening!
For this compo, I think it deserves a 9 (I promise that I'm not just downvoting slightly because I want to win!), though if it were for a nonstandard time signature compo, it would be the easiest 10 I'll ever give; you could tell me that this was composed in any weird and wonderful sequence of time signatures and I'd believe you! | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 14 March 2019
I'm total sucker for infinite async stuff and certainly won't turn it off sooner than half an hour <3 |
