This is a very verbose release with lots of little details but creates more mysteries than it solves.

The Beast/Maelstrom really has a lot to say:

- He announces he's leaving and mentions that the group's only been together "a few short months". He also says he may join Terminator(?)'s GCI.. There's a few Terminators this could be. Had to add this group to the Db.

- He says that even though he's leaving, COD will be OK because "we gave it a lot of publicity when Mad Hamster got busted by southern net on 5035 - yes Larex I was warned but I didnt pay attention haha"

- Says hi to future Reign of Terror partner Zapper

- Tells fellow COD member Dr. Z that he has "a good thing going with that assembler and that BBS". Confirmed sysop role but what was the baord? Dr Z would also shortly join Reign of Terror.

- Laments that Viper got busted after using his first and only code (USSPE's Viper?)

- Wishes The Dark One good luck with his group. What group?

- Wishes Datahuman good luck with his board. What board?

- Asks Iron Feather (who gets greeted by the other COD members also) when his baord will be back up and calls it one of the most elite systems he's ever seen. Confirmed sysop role, but what board?

- Greets Goblin of Abyss, who I've never heard of before, and talks about swapping Compuserv accounts. They arent in Abyss' member list and they arent in the Db at all! I definitely wasnt expecting to find a lost member of Abyss in here.

- Tells Vision that "CCCP is cool, let me know if you join Transcom". Did he?

Mad Hamster:

- also announces he's leaving.

- mentions on the front page that he slams the sysops of The Legacy BBS because of a spat "between COD and Gandalf" - so Gandalf is one of the sysops and doesnt seem to currently have a Db entry.

I cant imagine the group continued on after this.

This release confirms that The Beast changed his handle to Maelstrom during his tenure with COD.
