The game itself fortunately was not using the whole memory which allowed, after a careful analysis, to replace the critical hotspot routines with much more optimised "demo style" code. There were few trade-offs i had to make as the available memory was not limitless ofcourse. The game authors made some unfortunate design decisions that were really hurting performance-wise (like smooth horizontal scrolling with 4 pixels resolution) and my optimisations were done as far as i did not have to completely re-write the game engine. There are still places where i think the game can be further improved, mainly around sprites painting so maybe, maybe - another version will be released in the future. If anybody is interested in cooperation, please let me know (PM on CSDB).

This release was an exercise in profiling. Some homebrew tools were used, C64Debugger gained the profiling functionality on Brush's request (thanks Slajerek!). If anybody is interested in further working on it (sprites painting could be improved further f.e.) Brush will be happy to share my source codes.
