you can't use Flash Utility v3.8b either, if you want to use the progflasher because it is buggy. I just uploaded a bugfix of this version. search CSDb for "flash utility v3.8 patch"

You *can't use* FLashUtil005 (and lower versions) on the latest production run of the RetroReplay.

Read the manual of the RR: Type "TOOL" after you choose "install fastload", that will save the flash util V3.8b to disk. Use that one, it's the only one that knows the new flashrom type, and also contains new features such as the program flasher.
