The visualizer 10/10 | User Comment Submitted by Scorpion on 17 October 2019
Stinsen, many thanks for your feedback.
The visualiser was done for GT initially, but it's also been amended and tested to work with CheeseCutter and DMC(v4).
Upon start of the visualiser, it wonders through the player code and 'hooks' the commands writing to the SID registers, so basically it should work with any player (that is playing 'nice' :-)).
Of course, some player-specific settings are needed, as well as information on whether the tune is 1x or 2x (3x or more is not supported). | User Comment Submitted by Stinsen on 17 October 2019
Seems I forgot to comment on that player screen/visualizer, dunno if this is the right place, but awesome work!! Is it GT specific? | User Comment Submitted by la_mettrie on 12 October 2019 User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 11 October 2019
Great echo leads and a fine composition! | User Comment Submitted by Jangler on 9 October 2019
Thank you all for the kind words! iAN CooG: Yes, the ending is a bit abrupt, 3 min limit took its toll... I already have patterns for a proper ending, perhaps I'll release an "extended remixes" musicdisk one day :). Dr J: Affirmative, me, Flex and Juzdie are all brothers. At Zoo 2015, with other Artline guys around, I felt very ashamed of having no contribution to any compo. I promised to learn Goattracker and have a song ready for the next Zoo (2017). Flex showed a few basic tricks to smoothen the learning curve, and here we are a few years later! :) | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 9 October 2019
fuckin awesome tune. love the bass layer very much...give the tune so much depth and "feel" . great composition and i must confess never had of Janne . is he from Flex family??! | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 8 October 2019
Jangler is on a spree recently! Love your tunes! <3 | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 7 October 2019
Awesome tune and outstanding presentation! | User Comment Submitted by Stinsen on 7 October 2019
Super fat reverb (and melodies) throughout, had me thinking of Jeff somehow. :) Grats on the win! | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 7 October 2019
It's really nice melody wise, great composers in the Hannula family. One big disappointment is the abrupt end. | User Comment Submitted by DKT on 7 October 2019 User Comment Submitted by celticdesign on 7 October 2019
Finally, not that usual gay wies'n leads. Love it 10/10 | User Comment Submitted by Frostbyte on 7 October 2019
If 'Advection I' was Perfect, this is Perfect++. Mad skillz with the lead, and the fine balancing between the 2nd "string" and echo. Sounds are perfect, as is the filterwork, composition etc etc... Fine, fine work. The sid-dancey genre hits the sweet spot for me too. :) Deserved victory! | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 6 October 2019
Nice! Agree, the player is nice as well. | User Comment Submitted by psych on 6 October 2019 User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 6 October 2019 User Comment Submitted by Mixer on 6 October 2019
