I'd bet the design would work better. I have to say I found it cluttered: Diagonal rasterbars flashing here, horizontal rasterbars there and the mix of hires and multicolor graphics. The proportions of the letters of the Laxity logo is horrible, just look at that L in comparison with the scared A. It doesn't work for me at the moment.
